Terms of service

These terms apply between you and Northpine Labs LLC ("we") when you use the free check or buy the PR Payment Audit ("the service"). By using the service you agree to them.

1. What the service is

The service reads tax, pension and health-insurance records that are your own (or, in a family order, your family members' with their agreement), checks each payment date against its deadline under the rules ISA publishes, and shows the result in a web report and PDF.

2. What the service is not

• It is not legal advice and not an immigration procedure. We do not prepare, fill in or submit any application, 理由書 or request form for the Immigration Services Agency, a city office or a pension office (行政書士法 第19条; 社会保険労務士法).
• The report is not a document for submission to ISA.
• We do not predict or guarantee ISA's decision. The "earliest clean filing date" is a calculation from the guideline and your documents, not a promise.

3. Your responsibilities

• Upload only documents you are entitled to use. Cover your My Number before uploading.
• Check the values we read. Values marked "check by hand" were hard to read; the report relies on what you confirm.
• Keep your order link private. Anyone with it can open your order.
• Do not use automated tools to send uploads, or try to access other people's orders.

4. Accuracy and changes in the rules

We apply the published guideline, the self-check sheets, the document lists and the deadline rules in the law as of the rules version printed on each report. Rules change; the rules changelog lists each change with its date. If ISA's practice differs from its published rules, we cannot know it.

5. Prices and payment

Prices, payment and delivery are set out in the notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act. The launch price applies to orders paid by the date shown; after that the standard price applies automatically.

7. Data

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy. Uploads are deleted 7 days after your report and reports after 90 days, so download the PDF if you want to keep it.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any right you have under the Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory consumer law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the version in force when you paid applies to that order. We may suspend access in case of abuse. You can delete your data at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence remain unaffected.
